Redefine Success
Throughout my experience of 20+ years in the workforce I’ve realized one key thing that drives success… Reinvention. Growing up in the 90’s we believed that life would go a certain way or that our paths had an actual plan. When in reality we get to these times we once thought were so far off in the future, but here we are 2026. The companies and organizations that continue to reinvent themselves, their brand, their services, and their impact continue to show us we must adapt to our ever-changing world of consumerism.
Working in customer service and retail growing up taught me how to interact with people without fear. To help rather than ignore, to assist and speak rather, than run and hide. Now, with the boom of technology and integration of AI our world is different more than ever and we will need to continue learn from these social experiences, look at our data, and adapt. The top organizations invest and prioritize these changes, hence how larger organizations like Apple, Amazon, and Nvidia continue to push the envelope of technology.
We can do this on a local level, everything is scalable. I encourage you to take an inventory of your skills, experience, and hardships. Then rethink about how those skills have changed and how you can change along with them to better yourself as well share your experience and help the community you serve. My idea of success has changed multiple times over my 3 decades, yet the commonalities stay and the pillars of my foundation continue to hold steady. As long as I am continuing to push forward with ideas, momentum, and motivation I know more good times are coming than bad.
